Poster and oral presentations  

 

Please note that during this years online virtual event, poster sessions will be postponed to the EAOPD meeting in 2022. Posters will be very welcome then and we welcome you to do so!  

 

More information regarding the Poster and Oral presentations for 2022:

General Information

The EAOPD invites members of all Academies and non-members to submit abstracts to be considered for the poster presentation competition as for the oral presentation competition at the annual congress of the EAOPD (September 2nd and 3rd 2022). The location will for the congress will be published soon. Abstracts should report completed investigations that contribute to education, research, and/or clinical practice. 

 

Award

This year an award for the winning poster and oral presentation is granted. The price attached to both competitions is free admission for the next EAOPD congress.

 

Submission Deadline

All abstracts should be submitted by email to Rosaria Bucci. The EAOPD will confirm receipt of the abstract within two weeks. If you do not hear from EAOPD we kindly ask you to send a follow up email.

 

Notification

The presenting author will be informed by email regarding the acceptance or rejection of the abstract. Please specify the e-mail address of the presenting author in the abstract. The presenting author of an accepted abstract is required to be present at the requested time by the organizing scientific committee.

 

Criteria for Selection

• Abstracts must be original scientific material that has not been previously published or presented at any other national or international meeting. 
• The scientific committee will give high preference to original clinical or basic research abstracts of Randomized Controlled Trials and Observational Studies (Cohort study, Case control study).
• Case reports can be only submitted for poster presentation and may be accepted only if the scientific committee determines that the material presented is of high interest and high quality information.
